The Shepherd's Voice

The June edition of The Shepherd’s Voice encourages our church family to rest in “the gospel that satisfies.” Pastor Patrick reflects on Matthew 5:17 and reminds us that Christ did not abolish the Law, but fulfilled it completely. What we could never accomplish through our own effort, Jesus accomplished fully on our behalf. Because of His finished work, believers no longer live trying to earn God’s favor, but rest in Christ’s sufficient work and walk in obedience as worship.

This quarterly newsletter also includes second quarter financial updates, upcoming calendar events, elder updates, and a look ahead at what is coming next at FBC Tom Bean. Our Sunday sermon series will move through the book of Obadiah with the theme “When God Is Big,” and Wednesday nights will conclude the Becoming Kingdom Citizens study before beginning Gospel-Shaped Outreach.
